Jean Thomson
CEO
Jean Thomson co-founded Dashe & Thomson, Inc., in 1981. Currently CEO, Jean led Dashe & Thomson’s growth in the national and international marketplace by forging partnerships
with training firms in Japan and England. Jean is a Senior Member of the Society of
Technical Communication. She volunteers for Carleton College and for the Plymouth Church
Neighborhood Foundation.
Jon Matejcek
President
Jon joined Dashe and Thomson in 2003 as Director of Consulting, and assumed the role of President in 2005. Prior to joining Dashe & Thomson, Jon was co-founder and Vice President of Yatra Corp, a technology company subsequently acquired by Dublin-based Datalex Communications. Before that, Jon spent 10 years in leadership positions at Carlson Companies, Inc. He has degrees in Journalism and Organizational Development/ Communications from the University of St. Thomas. Jon serves on the Board of Directors for Hammer Residences, a Minneapolis-based nonprofit organization that provides housing and services for people with disabilities.
Barbara Camm
VP, Client and Staffing Services
Barbara leads Dashe & Thomson’s staffing function, and provides sales and project management expertise. Currently Vice President of Client and Staffing Services, Barbara joined Dashe & Thomson as Director of International Accounts, developing and managing Japanese and European partnerships as well as local and national clients. Barbara previously was Director of Training and Documentation for Intran Corporation, since acquired by Xerox. Barbara is a former Vice President of the Society of Technical Communication, a member of the Professional Association of Computer Trainers and the International Society for Performance Improvement, and an Advisory Board Member for Rimon, a local arts organization.
Jolene Wilson
VP, Training and eLearning Development
Jolene joined Dashe & Thomson in 2007 as Vice President of Instructional Design and eLearning after working with the company for over 12 years as a contract Senior Consultant and Project Lead. During her years with Dashe & Thomson, Jolene has led enterprise-wide training projects for major companies in the Twin Cities, including RBC Wealth Management, Lawson Software, and H.B. Fuller. Prior to that, Jolene worked as Senior Training Consultant for Prudential Home Mortgage, where she was instrumental in starting up their training organization, and for Norwest University, where she designed curriculum, developed training, and facilitated classroom training for employees and correspondent banks throughout the US. As a parent of four children, Jolene enjoys getting outdoors and any opportunity to read.
Andrea May
VP, Instructional Design Services
Currently Vice President of Instructional Design Services, Andrea joined Dashe & Thomson as Director, ERP Training in 2005 after working with the company as a contract Senior Consultant/Project Lead for almost 5 years in the areas of instructional design, training development, change management and communications. Prior to Dashe & Thomson, Andrea was an SAP Training and Change Management Consultant and Project Lead for DDS, Inc., where she provided consulting services to major companies in the Twin Cities, Philadelphia, Cleveland, Houston, and Saudi Arabia. Andrea specializes in customized instructional design and training development for large-scale ERP implementations, including SAP, PeopleSoft and MatrixOne. She is a member of the Professional Association of Computer Trainers and is active in the Parent-Teacher Organization at her daughter's school in Minneapolis.
Paul Paradis
Director, Sales & Marketing
Paul joined Dashe & Thomson in 2010 after serving as a business development consultant for Ionix Medical, a Minneapolis-based medical device startup. Previously, he was a business development executive for the Minnesota Timberwolves. Paul recently graduated from the Carlson School of Management, where he worked as a management consulant for the Carlson Consulting Enterprise, completing marketing engagements with 3M’s Automotive and Renewable Energy divisions and the Itasca Project. Paul has an MBA from the University of Minnesota, Carlson School of Management and a BA in Political Science from Davidson College.
Jim Thomson
Project Manager
Jim joined Dashe & Thomson in 2009, after working for the Northwestern Law School’s Center on Wrongful Convictions, an organization dedicated to overturning unjust criminal sentencing. Prior to that, he has worked as a freelance copywriter for a number of start-up websites. Initially in administration, Jim assumed the role of Project Manager in 2010. In his spare time, he has volunteered with organizations including Trevilla of Golden Valley, and La Creche Early Childhood Center. Jim has a B.A. in Political Science and English from Northwestern University.
Lynn Cases
Senior Trainer
Trained as a technical writer and documentation specialist, Lynn became a Microsoft Authorized Instructor and Office Master over 10 years ago. She holds her MOUS for Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook. Lynn has been developing training for standard desktop applications for over 10 years, and teaching Microsoft Office software classes for 12 years. Her favorite classes include Access, Word, and SharePoint. As well as training Microsoft software, Lynn develops training for a variety of business software. She is an active member of PACT (Professional Association of Computer Trainers) and ASTD-TC (American Society of Training and Development - Twin Cities). Lynn is a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer from Namibia and is still active with the MN-RPCV group.
